Duke vs. Carolina- Match made in heaven :)

This past weekend when we were getting snow/sleet we had an engagement session planned.     It was a little chilly when we went outside, but we all hung in there and I’m glad we did.   Erin and Chris are such a laid back, fun-loving couple!  They really knew how to have fun and you can just tell there is never a dull  moment in their household.  We did some family shots, then had a fun little game of corn hole between the two of them.    You’ll see more of them in March, when they tie the knot!   Meet Erin, Chris, and their son Timmy.

All because two people fell in love……….

Loving this shot of them with their two dogs….. how precious!–Meet George and Sammie

How adorable is Timmy in his santa outfit!

Timmy’s Grandma wanted pics for her Grandma and Me Frame.  :)

First Home………

Now it’s time to play a friendly competitive game or corn hole…..

Team Rivalry

Thanks Erin and Chris for bearing the cold weather with us!  We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and we can’t wait for your wedding in March!

Winter Dance- Monroe, NC

The past weekend we did formal Pictures at a winter dance.    I don’t quite feel comfortable posting pictures of the kids without their parents permission.  Their pictures are being sent of to the printers tomorrow to get printed.  However, of course Paul and I had some fun between Middle School and High School.  So I will post those!  Enjoy,

P.S.  If you haven’t noticed yet, I DO have snow falling on my blog!  Since my blog is kinda light in color its hard to see, but if you notice white specs, they are supposed to be there…HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

In this first picture I wanted to show the before and after….so you can see how the sheet we were standing on, had to look more like snow.

Exciting News- and a THANK YOU!

Hey Everyone,

So my last blog I posted that I had some exciting news to announce to you all.  Finally……I can tell you!  For the past month or more Paul and I have been working on re-doing the website.  I wasn’t 100% happy with the last website and/or the slide-show.  So over the last few weeks, hard-core, we have changed it.  I say we……. what I really mean is,  I got the pictures to Paul and told him what I envisioned, and he designed the whole thing.  I sure am lucky to be engaged to a man who is not only wonderful to me, but also amazingly talented.   The slide shows are way better quality, and bigger.  I also have some of my favorite songs playing to each one!   So , without any more yapping,  CHECK IT OUT!  WWW.PEEPSAKESTUDIOS.COM

On another note…..after posting I had news on my last blog.  I had a few phone calls.  I had people wanting to know what it was, and they didn’t want to wait!   I thought it was funny, of course if it was something really life changing or important they wouldn’t be finding out through a blog.  But,  after I talked with ONE of my number one fans Wednesday morning I realized it was something else.    I really am SUCH a lucky girl.  I am blessed with an amazingly talented, supportive, encouraging, and sometimes brutally honest (which is good) fiance.   I also have some of the most amazing family and friends who are also supportive,  uplifting, gentle (Which makes up for the brutally honest), who love me and are so proud of me.    I am truly SO THANKFUL for all of your feedback, devotion, and excitement with my journey of starting this business.   It means so much to me to have support and feedback from such people.  Sometimes when you are presenting something like photography, it’s a little nerve-racking.    There are so many different styles, taste, techniques, and SO much to learn.  You never know what people will like, dislike, etc.  Without my family and friends (or any blog followers)  I might not have as much courage.   SO thank you, thank you, thank you.  And one last special Thank you to my sweet phone caller on Wednesday morning (you know who you are).  You are so incredibly sweet, and it really started my day of wonderfully!

And b/c a blog isn’t as much fun without pictures.  Here are some of Paul and I messing around Thanksgiving night  in our office.  These should give you a laugh!
